Annice Curry Boykin
September 18, 1920 - October 16, 2012
Savannah- Annice Curry Boykin, 92, died Tuesday, October 16, 2012 at Morningside of Conyers Assisted Living.
Mrs. Boykin was born in Savannah and a long time active member of Bible Baptist Church. She retired after twenty five years of service as a Branch Manager with Georgia Federal Bank. She was preceded in death by her husband of fifty four years, Walter Byron Boykin, Sr.; son, Walter Boykin, Jr. Tucker, and daughter, Elizabeth Annice Henderson.
Grandma was extremely close to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She always had time for family and friends and her memory will live on through them all.
Surviving are her daughter and son-in-law, Loretta Boykin Moore and Ronald of Conyers, GA; ten grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren, and five great-great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, October 19, 2012 at Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel.
The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 20, 2012 at Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel with Dr. Herbert Hubbard officiating. Serving as pallbearers will be Ronald Moore, Jr., Joshua Warren, Tom Henderson, Hank Strickland, Mike Daring, Jr., and Walter Boykin. Burial will follow in Bonaventure Cemetery.
